Levity Live in Oxnard California

I've been a huge fan of Levity Live since they opened up. In fact we went to their opening night and snagged some commemorative cups. It's so nice to not have to commute to Hollywood / Los Angeles to catch a tour or show.  Let's face it, its just not a convenient drive.

So in our home, we're big fans of The Office, but who's not? For my birthday my son surprised me with tickets to see Todd Packer aka David Koechner hosting The Office Trivia Night. I honestly had no idea it was a thing but I absolutely enjoyed it. Now typically, live comedy sets and shows are not something you're encouraged to film or share online but at the very beginning they encouraged us to promote the show! I must say, David is absolutely hilarious. Albeit you have to have the "That's what she said" humor but if you do, you'll enjoy the show. He did awesome crowd work and really got the room involved. It was a lot of fun and left me wanting to catch him doing an actual set of stand up.

I really can't stress enough how awesome it is having a club just down the road. I've seen tons of comedians there and I can't wait to see who else will come. Off the top I recall Theo Von, who I actually saw free because I received their email newsletter and got offered 4 tickets. True story, I took my mom and step dad! We had a blast. Bryan Callen, Jesus Trejo, David Lucas, Mark Normand, that's just a few and I can't wait for more!
